Hackathon

Our Hackathon brings together young builders to collaborate in teams to design and develop early-stage products that respond to real opportunities across Africa’s evolving social and economic landscape. It is a structured, high-intensity build environment where developers, designers, creators, and emerging founders work together to translate ideas into prototypes, with a strong emphasis on execution, usability, and real-world relevance. Building on notable experiences where hackathons have accelerated breakthrough innovations such as the Facebook “Like” button, GroupMe, Zapier, and Easy Taxi, we channel Africa’s challenges into scalable solutions and create pathways for adoption, partnerships, and long-term value creation across sectors.
